A full-color, coffee-table type book is now available through this website. The book has full page photos of some of the more common fungi utilized for spalting and what their colors look like on finished pieces. Text is minimal. Note that this is a dynamic book – there are no ‘editions’ and the images change monthly as I make new, interesting pieces and swap out the pictures. So the book is kind of like spalting – never the same and always changing.
